IS TED CRUZ LOGO APPROPRIATE OR WHAT?
Here’s a humorous shortie about why it is
so important to “vet” anything that you cleverly develop for an election
campaign.
If you are
following today’s political campaigns, you have probably seen the logo that Ted
Cruz is using for his presidential campaign.
The logo, bumper-stickers, campaign buttons, TV banners are all with a
simple TRUSTED. It’s all one word in
caps with the TRUS in white or blue letters and the TED in red letters.
The Cruz
election team obviously didn’t Google test out the “TRUS” part of the logo
ahead of time.
Here’s what
you get when you Google “TRUS”:
“A transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) is an
ultrasound technique that is used to view a man’s prostate and surrounding
tissues.
The ultrasound transducer (probe) sends
sound waves through the wall of the rectum into the prostate gland, which is
located directly in front of the rectum.”
That is the
exact Google result.
I wonder how
Ted feels about an anal probe being attached to his name in all of his
advertising.
