BILL O’REILLY SHOWS HE IS A VERY “DUMB” AMERICAN

As usual, the “Talking Heads” on Fox News have their heads stuck up in a very dark and warm place.

 

I found it interesting when Fox’s Bill O’Reilly announced his feeling of how “dumb” Americans were after his hearing the results of a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

 

Right on que, O’Reilly’s opinion is again the issue that should have been considered totally dumb and stupid.

 

O’Reilly’s issue was that even though 62% of those polled said that the country was on the wrong track, Vice President Joe Biden had racked up clear leads over hypothetical Republican opponents. O’Reilly went bananas when he heard these results.  The flabbergasted O’Reilly said, “Biden’s the vice president, he endorses pretty much everything President Obama does to put the country on that wrong track”.

 

It is pretty stupid and narrow minded to think that when people say that the country is headed in the wrong direction, according to O’Reilly, then that wrong direction must obviously be this president’s responsibility. 

 

Okay, let’s get this straight.  The current president’s approval rating today is around 50%, while the approval rating of the US Congress is at about 10%.  I don’t suppose that the public feels the way they do because of the do-nothing Republican run Congress…..do you?  Nah, that couldn’t be it..

 

And the fact that US wages have been stagnant for years, the roads, airports, schools and bridges are all falling apart, now that couldn’t be the reason that Americans are so upset, could it?

 

Oh, and, because of Obamacare, 17 million more Americans have health care and the overall cost of health care has increased the least amount in 20 years.  That must be the reason people think we are headed in the wrong direction, right?

 

And let’s not forget that the Republicans in Congress shut down the government over a year ago and the same guys want to do it again for de-funding a family organization of which 62% of Americans approve.  Of course, that must be the reason that Americans are so displeased with the nation’s direction.

 

And due to the nation’s lack of reasonable gun laws, and that there is a mass shooting somewhere in the US every few months, I’m sure that couldn’t be a reason that people feel we are headed downhill.

 

Oh I know!  The president’s administration saved the country from the worst financial debacle since the Great Depression, (a crisis compliments of the Republicans), unemployment is the best in years, and the president got the country out of two over-seas wars, now those must be the reasons why we are headed in the wrong direction.

 

If the president and his administration are able to receive an approval rating that is consistently and substantially higher than the lawmakers in congress, shouldn’t some of the disappointment that is being displayed by the American public be placed at the foot of those with approval ratings in the single and low double digits?

 

There is one thing you can count on by listening every weekday to those idiots on Fox News.

 

You will never be disappointed in always hearing idiotic comments from any of the regular Fox talking heads such as Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Megyn Kelly and Ann Coulter.

 

No sirree, you’ll never be disappointed.
