PER THE 9/11 TERRORIST MASTERMIND: AMERICANS WILL LOSE THE WAR BY QUITTING THE FIGHT
…The 9/11 attack mastermind:
Khalid Sheik Mohammed
America's leaders are saying that
Americans are too weary and want to end the war.
You know, over
the past 8 years we have heard American leaders telling us that we
Americans are weary of war and need to focus on our nation building at home.
But you may
also not be aware that after our enhanced torture interrogation was
discontinued, some of the captured al Qaeda leaders such as the 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM) and others have actually become helpful
in leading the CIA to capture other terrorists.
In addition,
those captured terrorists also predicted that the American people would
eventually be weary of war and would be asking their leaders to stop fighting
and come home. KSM has said that this is
the way the Muslim extremists will eventually win the fight against their opposition.
James E.
Mitchell of the CIA has now written a book, “Enhanced Interrogation: Inside the Minds and Motives of the Islamic
Terrorists Trying To Destroy America.”
In his book he describes his interrogations of terrorists like KSM and
what they are saying about their war against the Western infidels.
The most
amazing part of the book is what KSM told Mitchell about what inspired al-Qaeda
to attack the United States in the first place, and the response they had expected
from the US.
KSM said that
the Western argument that al-Qaeda wanted to draw the US into a quagmire in
Afghanistan, and that now the Islamic State wants to do the same in Iraq and
Syria, KSM said that concept is totally wrong.
KSM instead
says that al-Qaeda had totally expected the United States to respond to 9/11 as
we had to the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut. According to KSM, the United States from al
Qaeda’s point of view, “turned tail and
ran”.
He said they thought the US would treat 9/11 as a law enforcement
matter, just as we had the bombings of the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania
and the USS Cole in Yemen. They expected
that we would arrest some operatives and fire a few missiles into some of their
staged, empty tents, but otherwise we would leave them free to plan the next
attack.
He told Mr.
Mitchell, “How was I supposed to know
that a cowboy President George W. Bush would announce he wanted us all dead or
captured alive and then invade Afghanistan to hunt us down?’” Mitchell
writes. “KSM explained that if the United
States had treated 9/11 like a law enforcement matter, KSM would have had time
to launch a second wave of attacks.” He was not able to do so because al-Qaeda
was stunned by the ferocity and swiftness of George W. Bush’s fierce response.”
But KSM has
said something else that has become prophetic. He told Mitchell, “We will eventually win because Americans
don’t realize . . . we do not need to defeat you militarily; we only need to
fight long enough for you to defeat yourself by quitting the fight.”
KSM explained
that large-scale attacks such as 9/11 were “nice,
but not necessary” and that a series of “low-tech attacks could bring down America the same way some
disease-infected fleas can fell an elephant.” He said, “The brothers would relentlessly continue their attacks and the
American people would eventually become so tired, so frightened, and so weary
of war that they would just want to end it all.”
“Eventually,” KSM said, “America will expose her neck for us to
slaughter.”
KSM may be
right in that, for the past eight years, our leaders have told us
that we are weary of war. According to
KSM, we have been defeating ourselves by quitting just as al Qaeda has predicted.
The world had
heard almost nothing from KSM for the past 15 years since the 9/11
attacks. However, Mr. Mitchell did spent
thousands of hours with KSM and other captured al-Qaeda leaders. For the first
time, Mitchell’s book shares what he says KSM and other former terrorists have
told him.
KSM has
described for Mitchell, many of his unconsummated ideas for future terrorist
attacks. But Mitchell does not revealed
the terrifying details of those ideas for fear they might actually be
implemented in the US. “If we ever allow
him [KSM] to communicate unmonitored with the outside world,” Mitchell
writes, “he could easily spread his
deviously simple but potentially deadly ideas.”
The point from
KSM seems to be that no matter what the Western powers do in the years going
forward, the extreme Muslims will eventually win the war. And according to KSM, “America may not be in a religious war with him, but he and other true
Muslims are in a religious war with America” and “he and his brothers will not stop until the entire world lives under
Sharia law.”
A frightening
thought that bears noting and remembering.
