DUE TO AMERICA’S FREEDOMS, TRUMP CAN CONTINUE LYING TO ALL AMERICANS

…The Lyin Trump

 

Trump blames the same press that made him famous for his own failings.

 

Regardless of who comes out on top Tuesday, I will be really glad when this political circus is finally over this week.  In addition, I have finally had it with all the lies out of Trump as he improperly  complains about  the media with his recent Tweet saying: “The media pile-on against me is the worst in American political history!  This disgusting” and dishonest cabal gins up false and unsubstantiated charges, and outright lies.”

 

The response to this by the so called “media pile-on” was very well worded and well executed.  Here is what came back at Mr. Trump: “Like most of Trump’s work on Twitter, this claim stands totally debunked. The country’s largest media outlets are proceeding with great caution when it comes to stories about this GOP presidential nominee.”

 

I don’t understand where Trump is going with his “piling on” statement, as these major newspapers are not jumping on the anti-Trump train and going after issues such as his potential connections to Russia and Putin.  As an example, The Daily Beast, has passed along this statement: “Our reporter investigated the story of a Trump connection to a Russian bank thoroughly. At the intersection of tech, crime and politics, it was right in The Beast’s wheelhouse. But we ultimately weren’t convinced that the data conclusively connected Trump and the Russian bank, and without more on-the-record sources, we just didn’t feel comfortable going forward. But we’re glad we passed on it.”

 

That’s not exactly “piling on”, is it?

 

Elisabeth Bumiller, the Washington Bureau Chief for the New York Times, told the Erik Wemple Blog, “We looked at this [connections to a Russian bank] a long, long time — a lot of reporting and a lot of effort,” said Bumiller, noting that it was “close to six weeks” of investigation. “It certainly looked like a really good story in the beginning, But the more we looked at it, and the more sources we talked to, we just couldn’t say what it was.” And a critical consideration: “Many of our sources became less confident over the weeks that it was something nefarious,” said Bumiller.

 

So, once again, where is all that “piling on” that “The Donald” is Tweeting about?  Yes, they do “pile-on” when he sprouts a bare-faced lie, that’s their job!  But here’s more…..

 

There’s a lot more to this. The New York Times not only passed on the story, they also added more to it by two of their reporters. “FBI officials spent weeks examining computer data showing an odd stream of activity to a Trump Organization server and Alfa Bank. Computer logs obtained by The New York Times show that two servers at Alfa Bank sent more than 2,700 “look-up” messages — a first step for one system’s computers to talk to another.  This was to a Trump-connected server beginning in the spring. But the FBI ultimately concluded that there could be an innocuous explanation, like a marketing email or spam, for the computer contacts.”

 

As the New York Times tells it, the FBI didn’t conclusively determine that there was an “innocuous explanation”.  They merely said that there “could be an innocuous explanation”.  Even so, a slew of media organizations has stayed away from the story.

 

Now, as to Trump’s political competitor, Hillary’s issues with the media and the GOP, I am the first to say that for this woman that has been in the political limelight for decades, Hillary Clinton has surely made some big mistakes that she deserves criticism.  However, she continues to stand proud even after all the brouhaha piled on her for years from the GOP, especially about the tragic mess in Benghazi.  Now that the FBI Director Comey has once again spoken up saying that nothing new has shown up on the Weiner/Abeden laptop, perhaps Benghazi will once again rise to the top of the Hillary pile.

 

But as to Benghazi, we continue to hear all the accusations such as, those Americans that died in Benghazi had multiple requests for an increase in security and the then Secretary of State ignored their requests hundreds of times.  That is totally false.

 

The truth is, that the Republicans in House of Representatives are the holder of the nation’s purse strings.  The GOP members of the House subsequently had cut Hillary’s State department budget for increased embassy and diplomatic security by something like $300 million.  In addition, any issues for embassy and foreign and diplomatic office security, these are not handled at the upper levels of the State Department.  Those requests for increased security would have never made it to Hillary Clinton’s office.

 

Yes, Hillary could have spearheaded an inquiry into increasing the budget or re-instating the budget cut, but the individual requests for increased security would not have gone to, or have been dealt with at Hillary’s level.

 

This explains why there have been so many official investigations into the Benghazi debacle for what caused the deaths of those Americans in the Benghazi diplomatic facility.  But in all those many inquiries and  investigations, many totally controlled by the Republicans in Congress, not one had found where Hillary had any responsibility in that horrible attack by Muslim terrorists.  Yes, Hillary may have made questionable explanations to the some of the families of those that died in Benghazi, that is something that is regretful, but she had nothing directly to do with the state departments diplomatic security issues.

 

This is just an explanation for one of the bogus accusations against the former Madam Secretary.

 

It is amazing that today you can Google: “Campaign Lies Told By Donald Trump”, and you will find lists like: “The 101 biggest lies from Donald Trump while on the campaign Trail”.  These are list of lies that are not offered up by Trump’s political opposition, but they are from the nation’s internet and major US newspaper’s internal Fact Checkers. 

 

When you do the same Google question for Hillary Clinton, you might notice that there aren’t lists in the “hundreds of lies” as they are with “The Donald”.  In addition, most of the so called listed Hillary “lies” come from her political opposition such as the Fox Network or from Fox pundits like Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, or even long-time Republicans that have always been anti-Hillary or anti-any Democrat.

 

Don’t get me wrong, Hillary in her many years in government has made some big mistakes, such as having her own private e-mail server.  But one must remember, at the time she made that decision, she wasn’t breaking the law.  Because of all the conspiracy theories that both of the Clintons have had to deal with over the past two decades, she made this server decision to obviously have some level of future communication privacy.  She had heard that others in the State Dept. such as the Republicans,  Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice that had private or non-government e-mails well before she became the Sec. of State.  She then made what has today been referred to as “a very bad decision”.  Hillary has said many times since, that if she were to have had the opportunity, she would never have made that decision.

 

You might recall that the GOP had decided early on, that when Hillary worked to get available health care for all Americans during her husband’s tenure as president, the opposition decided to remove her from “playing in their political sand box”.  She may have lost that race, but she has shown that no one should ever count her out.  The opposition then went after her and her husband for bogus issues such as the White Water scandal, the suicide death of Vince Foster, Travelgate, etc, etc, but decades later, Hillary is still standing.

 

I have always asked about the GOP’s attempts to crucify both Bill or Hillary Clinton, “If these two individuals had actually done all the horrible things that you accuse them of, why have you never been able to make even one supposed illegal action stick?  You have some highly competent attorneys within your party currently serving in Congress.  Is it perhaps possible that you have been improperly accusing them of illegal things that they haven’t done?”

 

At least when it comes to being accused of various dastardly deeds, no one has ever accused Hillary Clinton of being involved with, or supporting. the leader of a Communist super power!

 

Franklin Foer, the former top editor of the New Republic, he has now written a piece about that same Russian bank issue that the New York Times had also considered writing about.  Foer quite simply asked whether a Trump Corp. e-mail server was “communicating” with the Russian bank? 

 

An anonymous US computer expert had found that that same Alfa Bank of Moscow “kept irregularly pinging a server registered to the Trump Organization on Fifth Avenue”.  On the one hand, the story included cautionary signposts such as: “We can see a trail of transmissions, but we can’t see the actual substance of the communications.”

 

No, they can’t say with complete confidence that the servers have “exchanged emails.”  But on the other hand, the article stated that the computer expert and his colleagues plotted the data from the logs on a specific timeline. What the timeline suggests is the communication between the Trump server and the Alfa Bank servers appeared to follow the contours of all the political happenings going on in the United States.

 

Needless to say, the Russian Alfa Bank issued a denial: “Neither Alfa nor its officers have sent Mr. Trump or his organizations any emails, information or money. Alfa Bank does not have and has never had any special or exclusive internet connection with Mr. Trump or his entities. The assertion of a special or private link is patently false.”

 

At this point, the experts have come to an un-spectacular possible conclusion: “The Trump Organization owns a bunch of expensive, obnoxious spam servers that churn out marketing emails for its expensive, obnoxious hotels.” To account for all the computer “pinging,” a “plausible” explanation is that Alfa’s servers were “trying to figure out who was spamming them so much.”

 

The New York Times, the Washington Post, Reuters, the Daily Beast, and Vice had all examined these same materials, but as of today, they are not coming to any conclusions.

 

Donald Trump has since become by far, the number one recipient of the “Freedom of the Press”, or with him it’s: “Freedom for being able to lie to all Americans at will!”

 

If “The Donald” were living in that country where this strong leader rules, and if he were lying about the Russian leader as he does about Hillary, he would today, probably either be dead or would be sitting in a deep cell in one of the Russian political detention centers.

 

Think about it.
