FORMER GOP CONGRESSMAN PROMISES A “WAR” & WARNS OBAMA TO “WATCH OUT”

…The scene in Dallas where 11 police officers were shot & 5 died during peaceful demonstrations.

 

Tea Party Congressman that lost his seat after one term, continues to make an ass out of himself.

 

I had hoped that when the Illinois Congressman, Joe Walsh, lost his one-term seat, that we would have seen the last of the idiot.

 

But, as with most bad-pennies, he has turned up again.  And this time he once again, just “Opened mouth, and inserted foot.”

 

Walsh started a real Twitter battle after midnight, after only 3 of the five police officers had been announced that they had been killed in Dallas.  Walsh had Tweeted: . “3 Dallas cops killed, 7 wounded, This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you.”

 

Many on Twitter hit back at Walsh for threatening the president, and for going after Black Lives Matter (BLM) and for the racially charged nature of the Tweet.

 

The reaction to the Tweet was an immediate mix of shock and outrage and the Twitter users assailed Walsh for openly threatening the president.

 

But Walsh didn’t stop there.  Walsh deleted the first Tweet, but he returned to Twitter to respond nastily to the accusations that he was trying to incite a race war.

 

He then got totally bazaar by blaming Obama and BLM protesters for the deaths of the Dallas police officers….huh?

 

At one point, Walsh called for Black Lives Matter to be classified as a “hate group.”

 

Many Tweets came back at Walsh, and one called Walsh a racist of the worst order.   One directed at Walsh said that “his kind, and a minority of bad cops, were what created Black Lives Matter in the first place.”

 

One said, “Tell Joe Walsh that when he threatens the POTUS he threatens America.”

 

But then President Obama had interrupted his NATO conference to address the police killings in Dallas. First he said of the Dallas shooting, that they were “Vicious, calculated and despicable.”

 

Then Obama addressed the notion of the anti-police sentiment that has come up in the protests against police killings of mostly black men.  “When people say black lives matter, that doesn’t mean blue lives don’t matter,” he said. “It just means all lives matter. . . . This isn’t a matter of comparing the value of lives.”

 

But, back with the former congressman, in additional Tweets, Walsh called on “patriotic Americans to stand up & stand against all the Cop haters” including against the American president and “uneducated black thugs.”

 

And Walsh’s tweets just kept coming, even after Dallas police officials said repeatedly that they had killed the sniper and had additional suspects in custody.

 

Then early Friday morning, Walsh started defending not only his earlier Tweets, but also his right to jump to conclusions about who was responsible for the cop killings and why.

 

So his Tweets started blaming the cop killing on the LGBT community and Muslims….?

 

Eventually, the Twitter public got smart and started ignoring Walsh.  Many Tweets later wondered whether Walsh’s Tweets would have any consequences, but fortunately, most doubted that there would be anything of the kind.

 

And many more just wished that Walsh would just go away, which he finally did.
