PLEASE, MAKE MINE A “WILLIE”!

Little by little, the full legalization of marijuana is making its way into our world.

Well, I guess it was inevitable.  Yes, it was announced last month, that the most obvious individual that you can imagine has gone into the chain store business.  This well-known individual has made it known that soon there will be a special brand of top-quality, commercial grade cannabis, available in Washington state and Colorado.

The brand name of the marijuana will be Willie’s Reserve, and the new stores will also offer quality pot-paraphernalia along with the world’s finest weed.

As I had said, it was inevitable that long-time user and country western song-writer/singer-performer, Willie Nelson, would eventually get into this business. 

Willie has been working and calling for legalization of marijuana since the 1970’s.  In addition, for decades, Willie has called for an end to the so called “Drug War” where over 750,000 people are arrested every year for marijuana related offenses.  Willie has also been an on-going champion of small farmers, civil liberties, the environment, and just basic common sense. 

Willie has stated that he will only offer the best quality product and his stores will exemplify the “anti-WalMart” model of marketing.  The customer will always come first and I can only imagine what motif Willie will be using for his new “Weed Stores”.  But I can almost guarantee that you will be hearing some of the finest country music as soon as you walk in the door.

We used to joke about Willie’s tour bus “smoking” heavily as it rolled down the highway.  Finally, everyone will now be able to light up a “Willie”, without getting busted.

Willie states he will expand his stores into other US states as state regulations allow.

So, Willie will be “On the Road Again”, but in a whole new way.
