TUCKER CARLSON WAS CORRECT TO GO AFTER TED CRUZ

 

                                …Tucker Carlson is still the jerk he has always been.

 

There are more examples of individuals like Ted Cruz, that deserve similar attention

 

As Tucker Carlson’s interview of Ted Cruz has now gone viral, I think I need to be more clear about my comment that “Tucker finally got it right.”

What he got right was, as him being a strong supporter of Donald Trump, for him to actually go after the lying GOP Senator, Ted Cruz, was the proper thing to do.

Cruz was the number one Republican to say negative things about Donald Trump, back when he was running for president, the first time

Cruz, a number of times back then, had publicly called Trump a liar and that Trump couldn’t handle any form of losing anything.

Then he did a 180° turn and started acting like Trump’s best friend.  Cruz had even attacked Trump for his criticizing his wife . 

But that was back in 2015 and 2016.  But then, like many other Republican lawmakers, Cruz became a Trump supporter. 

What Carlson got right was to go after Cruz for Cruz backing down from his previous statements, not his comments about the Jan. 6 rioters being terrorist, even though they were being domestic terrorists.  Actually, Carlson was going after Ted Cruz for being, as Trump had called him, the “lying Ted Cruz.”

Let’s face it, Tucker Carlson is as much of a traitor against American democracy as any other Trump supporter. 

Carlson has even stated that what went on in the Capitol on January 6^th should just, “barely be called a riot.”  He actually said that it wasn’t an insurrection, “It was just a minor riot.”

I don’t think an event that tried to reverse a free and fair election, that also caused Capitol police personnel to die, or to be seriously injured, could be called a “minor riot”.

But to go after and to make a fool out of a politician such as Ted Cruz was the right thing to do, even if it was for all the wrong reasons.

Cruz has for years been needing to be put in his place.  For Ted Cruz to be knocked down a few pegs, was worth whatever it took, regardless of who did it.

Therefore, Carlson is still the jerk he has always been.  But to see Carlson going after one of his own kind was well worth watching from the sidelines.

“Keep it up Tucker”, but don’t stop with Ted Cruz.  There are plenty of others such as Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Paul Gohsar, Mike Lindel, Rudy Giuliani and Scott Perry, to mention just a few that deserve the same attention on nation-wide TV.
