THE "REAL" PRESIDENT TRUMP

….How I and many Americans view the president.

This president certainly doesn’t represent me.

There isn’t much to say about President Trump after his campaign type speech at the so called rally for Republican Rick Saccone’s special election in Pennsylvania.  Mr. Saccone is not doing so well against his Democratic contender and as usual, the rally speech quickly became a speech about Trump.

Trump continues to take the approach he did in the campaign.  When he is in a comfortable crowd as he was in Pennsylvania, he then turns to personal attacks on his competition and he goes after one of the key areas that allow a democracy to function, the mainstream media.  As usual, when Trump went after the media calling them “Fake News” he also called some Democrat representatives by their names and saying they were “low IQ” individuals.

Trump just  continues to embarrass many Americans by his saying he represents all Americans.  Well, he doesn’t represent me and I’m ashamed that he has as many supporters as he does.  I guess it’s individuals like Trump that are able to convince people to follow them into the abyss, as did Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.

I also resent that he is so verbally critical of our past presidents, even those from his own party.

Because of his hip-shooting decision on tariffs on steel and aluminum, our allies are already announcing their own tariffs on key American products such as Harley Davidson, Levis and Kentucky Bourbon.  Many automobiles, not just American models, but many foreign makes are now made in America.  Will any of those vehicles coming from America, will they also be hit with tariffs?

This president thinks of himself as being so strong.  What is strong about a man that calls people names, that averages 5.5 lies per day, (sometimes per hour), that even calls his own White House personnel and some of his key nominations with vulgar criticism.  That’s supposed to be strong…?
Sounds to me like an insecure individual that’s trying to be the school yard bully.  Why the GOP puts up with this is beyond me…..?  (If a Democratic President were acting as does Trump, they would already be serious about impeachment.  Too bad the GOP holds both Houses of Congress.)

Hopefully the Robert Mueller investigation will help shorten his term.  (I never thought I would look forward to the concept of “President Pence”….but here we are.)

Nuff said for today.  I could go on for hours after all the crazy happenings of last week in DC.
