CONSERVATIVES THINK THAT TRUMP HAS EAR MARKS OF BRAIN DAMAGE

…This woman, Kathleen Parker, once acted similar to Donald Trump

More and more observers think Donald Trump is not “right-in-the-head”

To me, this is not a surprise, but more than one person has now casually made the claim that the “narcissist Trump” has all the ear marks of a person with a type of personality disorder.

In fact, one famous and highly conservative opinion writer, Mr. Charles Krauthammer, who before becoming a syndicated columnist, his formal training was as a board-certified psychiatrist.  Mr…er, sorry, Dr. Krauthammer, has described Trump’s condition in his column and on various Fox News programs, as being “consistent of someone with a personality disorder”.

OK, so just what in this case is the definition of a “personality disorder”?

Well, you might recall that an unqualified pseudo-physician, the Republican fund raiser, Mr. Karl Rove, was formally known by the former US president “Dubya Bush” as  his beloved, “Turd Blossom”.  Yes, Mr. Rove some years ago upset a number of key individuals when he claimed that Hillary Clinton might have suffered brain damage from a fall.
…Karl “Turd Blossom” Rove, himself.

But for today, even Dr. Krauthammer agrees that, Hillary’s brain seems to be working just fine.  However, it’s less than clear that is the case with Donald Trump.

Ms. Clinton’s brain issue was from back in late 2012, when the then Secretary of State had sustained a concussion after becoming dehydrated and fainting. Clinton had been suffering from stomach flu and according to a statement from the deputy assistant secretary of state, Hillary was being monitored by doctors at home. She was never hospitalized after her fall.

Now Ms. Clinton’s concussion took over 6 months before she was considered being back to normal.  She was also required to wear glasses as a result of the concussion.  The Doctor had stated that, "She'll be wearing these glasses instead of her contacts for a period of time because of lingering issues stemming from her concussion. With the glasses on, she sees just fine. In fact, she got a kick out of it when she saw everything so crystal clear."
…Hillary Clinton wearing glasses instead of her contacts.
The point of all of this is also demonstrated by The Post’s conservative woman columnist, Ms. Kathleen Parker.

Ms. Parker recently wrote, “I think I’m in a unique position to ask this question because of events visited upon me shortly after and pertaining to Karl Rove’s remarks about Hillary Clinton. While appearing on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on May 22, 2014, I was asked about those Rove remarks, which I characterized as unfair and premature. I mentioned that I’d once suffered a concussion myself and that, though serious, symptoms aren’t necessarily persistent over time.”

Per Ms. Parker, “Just minutes later, after being with Andrea, and forced by a broken elevator to take the stairs, a slippery step sent me airborne and at the mercy of gravity. The resulting concussion, compounded by my previous one, left me in a vague state for several months.”

Ms. Parker then explained her circumstances as follows: “My own symptoms often mimicked the early stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia. I simultaneously experienced being childlike as well as elderly, variously filled with awe and wonder as well as confused, disoriented, depressed and uncertain.”

Then she continued: “My particular injury was to the frontal lobe, which governs executive functioning, including decision-making, problem-solving, memory, language, initiative and motivation. Additionally, it regulates inhibition, impulse control, judgment and social behavior. One of the questions neurologists routinely ask friends and family of brain-injured people is whether they’re quicker to anger. In my case, oddly, everyone said, ‘Oh, no, she’s much nicer!’ “ (This issue has since passed for Ms. Parker.)

She then added: “Also, oddly, while I was unable to think of words — calling an umbrella an elephant and saying that my closet, though large, “doesn’t have much parking” — I could conduct mathematical calculations in my head seemingly without thinking. The brain truly is a mysterious place.

But  now I must say that both Ms. Parker and I have very similar ideas when each of us has described our attitude about Mr. Trump.

We both agree that the brain is a mysterious thing and Trump seems to demonstrate that fact,  Instead of brain damage, we both think that in his case, Trump is simply displaying signs of atrophy associated with aging. If so, then according to most brain specialists, this would help explain his impulsiveness, his inappropriate language, his quick temper and his sometimes “mean streak’”.

Ms. Parker has looked further into Trump’s case and in talking to some of Trump’s neighbors in Palm Beach, Fla., they have told her “That the man they’re seeing on the stump isn’t the man they’ve known. Although he always has been boastful and consumed with greed and self-promotion, he’s hardly alone in these categories.

She then stated that, “What is unique, at least among presidential candidates, is his utter lack of social skills in saying things that would get a schoolchild sent to the principal and very likely to a psychologist. The inhibition filters that keep most of us from saying whatever pops into our head seem in Trump’s case to be on the blink.”

Ms. Parker also admitted: “I too displayed some of this same behavior in the first several months after my fall. Ordinarily polite, I was suddenly prone to interruptions and would blurt out things that never would have left the lips of my previous self. Temperamentally reserved, I became almost aggressive in telling anyone everything. Who was this person?  The thing is, as I read somewhere, when your brain is damaged, your brain is damaged. And while the marketing/branding portion of Trump’s 70-year-old brain seems to be as finely tuned as ever, his general behavior of insults, diatribes and distortions suggests that some key neurons may have left Trump’s tower.”

Yes, this is where both Ms. Parker and I agree, and we both feel that based on this observation, we are very concerned that Mr. Trump is now being fed classified information by the possibility that he could become the Commander in Chief and the President of the United States.

As Ms. Parker has suggested, perhaps now we should “page Dr. Rove” to analyze Mr. Trump.
