JUST ONE MORE CRAZY TRUMP IDEA!

…Crazy Donald!

Most of Trump’s ideas are illegal, unconstitutional, impossible to implement or just too expensive.

OK, let’s look at the Trumpster’s latest response for what he says he would do if Mexico wouldn’t send us the check for billions of dollars to build the border wall.

Trump’s plan is to cut off the flow of billions of dollars in payments that immigrants send home to Mexico.

Now, other than the fact that it would be virtually impossible to implement, it’s also unconstitutional and it’s a major insult to American voters’ intelligence.

Now, I know that these same objections apply to most of Donald Trump’s ideas.

But besides all that, he hasn’t considered that if he could shut off this money flow, it would probably decimate the Mexican economy.  That would in turn, force even more illegals to attempt coming over the border to look for jobs.

Let’s also not pay any attention to the fact that to enforce this program would be very expensive.  It would require going against portions of the US Patriot Act, the act Trump says he would threaten to change with an executive order.

As one national opinion writer wrote, “Like any two-bit extortionist, Trump in essence is saying, “Hey, nice country you’ve got there, Mexico. It would be a shame if anything happened to it.”

Deciding who is illegal and which bank accounts belong to which people would require a major expansion of US government power and personal intrusions.  It would also require snooping into ordinary Americans’ financial affairs which would require the Supreme Court to get involved for constitutionality.

In order for a President Trump to do many of the things he proposes, he would need a US Supreme Court that would allow him to basically put the US Constitution in a locked drawer and to throw away the key.

In other words, those that say that Trump would be better than Hillary Clinton because he would appoint conservative justices are totally wrong.  Real conservative justices would never allow any of Trump’s efforts to circumvent the US Constitution.

Besides, Trump’s lack of understanding of how the US Constitution works just supports the latest concerns that he is uniquely unfit for the US Presidency.  Trump only shows total contempt for those that disagree with him.  This of course, shows that a Trump administration would be unprincipled with ignorant advisers who would gladly carry out Trump’s probably illegal edicts.

As the US President, Trump would find himself overwhelmed by the judicial branch and by the US Congress which could easily bar his actions through legislative action or inaction.  (Trump doesn’t seem to understand that the House holds the keys to all of government’s major spending.)

Based on what we see today, Trump would probably just whine that “Those idiots in Congress aren’t letting him do what he wants to do.”

The only good news is that at least the public would finally have to accept the fact that the great Donald J. Trump had sold them all a false bill of goods.

As the Trumpster continues to perform gaffes, he is shrinking his support base by losing women and those better-educated voters and evangelicals making over $50,000.

Trump also seems to be losing his grip on the campaign.  Lately, where before his lame gaffes caused no harm, today, whatever he does seems to make things worse.

Based on how he’s been acting over the past couple of weeks, one must conclude that he is erratic, irrational and inept.

Not exactly the sort of person that will or could make America or any place else great.
