IS THERE A SOFTER SIDE OF TED CRUZ?

…The junior Texas Senator, Ted Cruz.

 

Some people think that Ted Cruz is the devil wearing a mask.

 

I know it’s hard to believe, but with Trump’s on-going “War against Women”, Cruz now thinks he has a shot at getting more women voters.

 

With that in mind, Cruz is trying to woo the women.

 

Now the freshman senator Cruz in not really high on anyone’s list in Washington.  Cruz has alienated his fellow senators, as only Senator Mike Lee of Utah as seriously endorsed Cruz.  Now even though Lindsay Graham has helped raise money for Cruz, Graham decided to do this to get anyone but Trump as the GOP nominee.  (Yes, it was the same Senator Graham that said if Cruz were to be murdered on the Senate chamber’s Floor, no one would be convicted.  He also said that deciding between Trump and Cruz was like deciding between being shot or taking poison.) 

 

So far, this idea of going after more women supporters seems to involve having Cruz’ wife and mother “ to hit the trail and highlight a softer side of Cruz.”  With a short pause to shudder over the idea of the softer side of a Ted Cruz, here’s just a quick example of the Ted Cruz views on just a few issues that may matter to most American women:

 

·       Cruz opposes paycheck fairness

 

·       Cruz opposes paid family leave

 

·       Cruz opposed reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act

 

·       Cruz opposes raising the minimum wage

 

·       Cruz opposes all reform to gun laws

 

·       Cruz supports criminalizing abortion

 

·       Cruz supports defunding (and prosecuting) Planned Parenthood

 

·       Cruz supports abolishing the Department of Education

 

Based on this and other issues, I doubt that all the ladies will be loving candidate Cruz.
