FOX NEWS OUT-DOES ALL OTHER NETWORKS IN TELLING OUTRIGHT LIES
Lies, Lies & More Lies
Don’t take my word on it, this is well documented by independent network monitoring operations.
Have you
noticed that as useful as the internet is, there is a group of users that only
make use of the radio waves, cable networks and the internet for spreading
rumors, lies and ridiculous rhetoric.
Fox News is the main user of these avenues in this fashion.
In fact, the
organization that regularly follows the networks, Pundifact, says that Fox News has offered the most falsehoods of
all the cable & broadcast networks.
Per Pundifact, Fox News offers false
stories 60% of the time, while CNN was the best network at only 18% of the time. (And
CNN was “Mostly True”, not outright lies.)
The details
for Fox News overall statements are:
·
True Statements 8%
·
Mostly True 10%
·
Half True 22%
·
Mostly False 19%
·
False 31%
·
Totally False 10% (This
is the “Pants-on-Fire Award” for
false statements)
The political fact checking site, Politifact has also given Fox News the
LIE
OF THE YEAR award every year since 2009.
Here is a
small list of just a few of the past false statements that have come from Fox
News :
·

·

·

care.

If you want a
very good list of Fox’s false statements, just Google Jon Stewart’s YouTube
video “Laundry List of Fox Lies”, and
you will really be entertained, and devastated, with how much lying goes on at
Fox.
What would we
writers and bloggers do if we didn’t have Fox News to kick around.
