MANY MEDICAL PERSONNEL AGREE THAT TRUMP IS A SICK PERSON
…Trump’s many moods
Per the Doctor, Donald Trump
manifests a serious mental illness
Well, many of us have been saying that Donald Trump is ruining
the country and should be removed from office.
We also know that the billionaire, Tom Styer has been using his
personal funds to sponsor a program for impeaching the president.
But there is also a petition signed by thousands of medical personel that was started some time ago
by a clinical psychologist. The petition says that Donald Trump is very dangerous and
unfit for the presidency.
Now this is no ordinary psychologist. Dr. John Gartner graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University and he received his
Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts. He completed his post-doctoral training at
New York Hospital via Cornell Medical School. Gartner is a therapist with
a private practice in Baltimore and one in Manhattan. This doctor specializes in the treatment of borderline personality disorder, bipolar
disorder and depression.
Dr. Gartner, collected in the early months of 2017 more than 25.000 signatures of mental health professionals on a
petition, and he directed it to the national US Senate opposition leader, Democratic
Senator Chuck Schumer. At the end of April 2017, he was able to
forward this petition, now with more than 41.000 signatures of mental healthcare
professionals, to the Demotic leadership in Washington D.C.
This is what it states in the core of the
petition: “It is my professional
judgement that Donald Trump manifests a serious mental illness that renders him
psychologically incapable of competently discharging the duties of President of
the United States. And I respectfully request him to be removed from office,
according to article 3 of the 25th Amendment.”
Dr. John Gartner is also the president of Duty
To Warn. This is an organization
of professionals from several medical branches where professionals have the duty to
warn patients, clients and the community if they are aware of someone becoming a potential
danger to themselves or to the public.
According to Dr. Gartner, President Trump's
mental handicaps are of being a malignant narcissist who lives in his own reality and
suffers extreme narcissistic injury when his personal "reality" is threatened.
Trump has a true case of paranoia which is
characterized by delusions of “they’re
out to get me”. He displays unwarranted jealousy; and exaggerated self-importance. It may be an aspect of chronic personality
disorder, or of a serious condition such as schizophrenia, in which he loses touch with reality.
Trump is also a Sociopath. In the Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders this disorder is known as Antisocial Personality Disorder.
In addition, the doctor says that Donald
Trump also has “a dash of sadism” as he derives great pleasure from inflicting humiliation on others.
The good doctor also says that whatever the worst
things are that you could imagine, that could or will happen if Trump becomes
threatened or is pushed into a corner. This is especially dangerous with this individual, being the US president, he is the most
powerful, single human on the face of the earth.
When asked if the doctor ever feels guilty about
coming up with such a serious diagnosis without personally examining the individual, the
doctor offers an emphatic "NO". He states that his training as a clinical psychologist is not based on
examinations as is a practicing medical doctor. His medical profession and diagnosis is based on long periods of "observations".
And he has been observing Donald Trump on a daily basis since he began
running for office in 2016. (We are all aware that Donald J. Trump has attempted to be on camera, or to tweet his instantaneous thoughts, on a 24/7 basis. This allows for a tremendous opportunity of him being observed by us all.)
Dr. Gartner also refers to the 41,000 signatures of the other mental healthcare professionals who have been observing Trump and have signed his petition. He has a point that these individuals would
not have signed the petition if they didn’t agree with the doctor’s observations and diagnosis.
Here is what the petition says that the
41,000 medical professionals signed:
“We, the undersigned mental health professionals (please state your
degree), believe in our professional judgment that Donald Trump manifests a
serious mental illness that renders him psychologically incapable of
competently discharging the duties of President of the United States. And we
respectfully request he be removed from office, according to article 4 of the
25th amendment to the Constitution, which states that the president will be
replaced if he is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”\
As a pure medical lay-person, I have to say
that it does appear that Dr. Gartner’s diagnosis does have merit.
Here are just a few comments from those that have
signed Dr. Gartner’s petition:
Dr. David Kincaid:
Clearly, in the president, we have a malignant
narcissist who lives in his own reality and suffers extreme narcissistic injury
when his "reality" is threatened.
Dr. Angelica Jaszewski:
No one will probably see this, but I am signing this petition because I love America, I love the United States and I can't sit back and watch a lunatic destroy it without doing something..
Clinical Psychologist: Tracy Garrett:
Trump is mentally ill and unable to govern the country. He and his team are systematically destroying the government. He must be removed.
Dr. Valerie Smith:
I think you are correct in your assessments and fear our country is in peril with this president.
Andrew Seligman: Clinical Psychologist
I believe that president Trump's official and unofficial actions and behavior reveal that he is unable to exercise sound judgement when under stress. Given the power and responsibilities of his office, I consider him unfit to serve as president of the United States of America.
·
All this sounds reasonable to me and I agree that we are all in deep do-do if a stressed President Trump becomes what
the good doctor has predicted.
