IT'S TIME TO SHOCK PRESIDENT TRUMP

…To many Americans and others, they see this as the US president.

It is time to stop being shocked by this president.

So far, what our president has shown us is that we can now say that there will never be that magic moment when Donald J. Trump will grow into the position of being the President of this United States.  Mr. Trump will never become thoughtful, intelligent, presidential and he will never change or improve.

This is now being understood by everyone from those that voted for him, to even our worst international enemies.

Seriously, even those at the Fox Network should be gagging and blanching at his latest behavior.  Trump has seriously shown that he is the head of the amateur hour in the White House and that he has also sold-out those 63 million voters that put him in our public house.

He has done this by bringing back a promise of supporting white supremacy, and by giving billions in tax cuts to billionaires.  He's also done this by praising an autocratic thug that has worked to strangle our democracy; has stolen another country, and has murdered his dissenters while poisoning former Russian spy defectors.

One Miami columnist has written about Trump’s situation with the latest Summit with the Russian leader:  “Faced with such unallowed evil, Trump did everything except roll over to have his tummy scratched by Putin.”

Just as Trump compared neo-Nazis with those who protested against them, Trump stated that both the US and Russia were to blame for today’s strained relations with Russia.  This was stated when it is now well understood that the US intelligence community has confirmed that Russia interfered with the 2016 presidential election.  Yet he still stated that Putin, well know for being a liar, had an “extremely strong and powerful denial” of interfering with the elections. Trump agreed more with Putin’s denial than with his own intelligence personnel.

This is the same man that called the NFL’s Colin Kaepernick unpatriotic for kneeling during the national anthem.  This was Kaepernick's protest against all the police killings of young black Americans.  Yes the same president that berates our allies of over 70 years, yet at the Helsinki Summit, he could not rebuke one of America's greatest adversaries.

This man also sees threats to America from Honduran children, but sees no threat from a murderous tyrant that just happens to have nuclear weapons.  But then, Trump has shown that he respects all authoritarian dictators more than our allies.

During the Summit with Putin, President Trump came across as weak, ignorant and totally impotent.   It was disgusting and appalling.

This is not a good president.  But worse, this is not a good person and he isn’t very smart.  To put all of this in perspective, the first image that appears when you Google the word “idiot”, is a picture of guess who....?  Donald Trump.

Trump in not patriotic, moral, intelligent, or brave.  Nor does he have the desire or capability of improving or changing.

Let us as Americans be angry, determined to make a change, and to be resilient.  But we should no longer be shocked by this president.

Going forward, to be shocked is just a waste of time. 

The mid-terms are coming this November.  Let’s be the ones to shock Mr. Trump.
