THE AMERICAN PUBLIC ALREADY HAS TED CRUZ'S NUMBER

Is it Joe McCarthy in a “Drama Mask”?  No, It’s Texas Senator Ted Cruz!!!!!

It took no time for America to make their feelings known about the “Wack-O-Bird”, US Senator, Ted Cruz.

Well, it didn’t take a full 24 hours, and already there is a Twitter call for possible campaign slogans for the newly announced presidential campaign of the junior Texas Senator, Ted Cruz.   It’s called:  #tedcruzcampaignslogans.  If you want to follow it, or want to add your own campaign slogan / bumper sticker suggestion, this is the place to go.

I watched the senator’s whole presidential announcement speech which was made in front of the very large crowd at the late Jerry Falwell’s, Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.  Yes, the crowd was large and very supportive.  But one must also know that the students would have been fined $10.00, if they did not attend the mandatory announcement presentation.  In addition, the very Christian Liberty U. offers exactly the kind of student and voter that Ted Cruz is going after for the initial presidential state caucuses and state primary elections and debates.

There is no question that Senator Cruz is an excellent speaker.  His father being a skilled preacher has taught him well and as to his book-smarts, Cruz was known as an excellent and highly intelligent student when he attended Harvard Law School.

In fact, Cruz was the valedictorian at his Texas Baptist High School and he graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy.  He also won the top speaker award at both the 1992 US National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship. In 1992, he was named US National “Speaker of the Year”, as well as “Team of the Year”, with his debate partner.

So, yes, Ted Cruz is an accomplished speaker, debater and is very book-smart intelligent.

What was so disappointing was that most of the key points of his speech were full of miss-stated information or just out-right falsehoods.  But I must say he presented them with total conviction and he totally controlled the crowd.  He did all this without a teleprompter and without any written speech or notes.  It was all from memory and he never missed a beat.

I’m sure this man will never become the American president.  But he is going to be someone for the other Republican campaigners to deal with during the up-coming campaigns and primary debates.

But, let's get back to the Campaign Slogans and Bumper stickers.

It appears that the general public understands where the senator is coming from and their suggestions for campaign slogans shows all that in spades.

Listed below are just a few of the suggestions that came from following the hash-tag Twitter feed:

·       Ted Cruz: A Vote For Me Starts WWIII

·       Ted Cruz: Sarah Palin’s Annoying Kid Brother

·       Ted Cruz: Crazy Joe McCarthy Deserves a 2nd Chance

·       Ted Cruz: If Rand Paul Wasn’t Crazy Enough

·       Ted Cruz: Yes, Children,The World Is On Fire!

·       Ted Cruz: The Abe Lincoln of Sarah Palin’s

·       Ted Cruz: Real Science: R.I.P.

·       Ted Cruz: A Probe in Every Woman

·       Ted Cruz & Climate Change: An Ocean in Every Home

·       Ted Cruz Equals:
          *The Wisdom of Bush
          *The Fear-Mongering of Cheney
          *The Ideology of Rand Paul
*W/ A Face Like the “Drama Mask”

·       Ted Cruz:
ü  Unemployment Down
ü  Stock Prices Up
ü  Fewer Uninsured
ü  Time For A Change

·       Ted Cruz: Liberals Hate Me! That’s Enough To Support Me!

·       Ted Cruz: “The only thing we have to fear is listed on my campaign web site!”

·       Ted Cruz: “I Was Never Likable!”

·       Ted Cruz: “Your Racist Uncle’s Favorite Choice.”

·       Ted Cruz: “Hi! I’m a hypocrite!”

·       Ted Cruz: “You Voted For A Kenyan, Now Try A Canadian!”

As I said, the public seems to have Ted Cruz figured out.  But he should be very entertaining to follow, kind of like a Sarah Palin with real intellect.

Enjoy!
