TRUMP SERIOUSLY THINKS HE WILL WIN NEW MEXICO
…Trump Protesters for his very first visit as
the US President to New Mexico
This man has no shame in his attitude toward anyone
that isn’t white.
President Donald Trump, is the same man that
ran for president by going after illegal immigration with his negative rhetoric about Latinos. This was the
foundation of his first term in office.
Well, this same president made a direct appeal
this week in New Mexico to Hispanic voters for voting for him for a second
term. And this is the man that started his
presidential campaign by saying that Mexicans: “bring crime, bring drugs”
and they are “rapists”.
Yes, the same man that also has a long history
against all black’s, but in a 2016 campaign speech, Trump pointed out a man in
the audience and said “Look an my African American”, as if the man, were
a Trump possession. A man that, by the
way, has since made it known to the public that he is no longer a Trump
supporter, and that he will not be voting for Donald Trump in 2020.
At one of his outrageous campaign rallies in
New Mexico, his first visit as president to this border state, a state that BTW has
been controlled by Democrats since 2004.
Trump once again targeted his campaign attacks on his political
opponents, and of course the media, but now he has added his false sweeping
declarations of Latino support for his reelection.
In the crowd of Latino’s wearing Trump
shirts & holding Trump Supporter signs, he actually said: “Yesterday
marked the beginning of the Hispanic Heritage Month….. who’s Hispanic here?” Trump had actually asked this of the cheering
crowd of supporters on the
outskirts of Albuquerque, many of whom waved their, “Latinos for Trump”
signs. Trump also had the gall to say, “These
are Incredible people . . . we have much to celebrate”…….what the hell does that men?
After touting the low unemployment rate for
Hispanic Americans, as well as for all Americans, Trump said, “We’re working
night and day to deliver a future of limitless opportunity for our nation’s
Hispanic American citizens, including many extraordinary Mexican Americans.”
So, where's the proof of that statement?
And yes, as he had called the Black man, his “African
American”, he actually referred to the
crowd as, “My Hispanics”.
This is Trump’s current approach to the same
Mexicans that he had called “rapists”, while claiming that God had
created Donald J. Trump to create American jobs,
Trump’s statements are opposite the reality of
the latest, measured, public-opinion surveys, which show that the majority of
Hispanic Americans disapprove of his job performance. Trump’s approval rating among Hispanic adults
nationally stood at 25% in a Washington Post-ABC News poll just this
month, with 67% disapproving. That is 13 percentage points lower than Trump’s
overall national job approval rating of 38%.
To show where Trump is against the current
Democratic front-runner Joe Biden, in combined Post-ABC polls in
September and early July, the polls found Trump trailing 71% to 26%, which
is similar to his losing margin among Hispanics in his 2016 race, according to
exit polling.
According to the US Census Bureau, Hispanics make
up almost half of the population in New Mexico, the highest share of any state. Trump lost New Mexico by eight percentage
points in 2016, and since 1992 a Republican has won the state only once in a
presidential election, and that was George W. Bush.
“We will campaign for every vote, and we
will win the great state of New Mexico,” Trump said. “The Democrats want
to completely annihilate New Mexico’s economy. . . . The Democrats will never
get the chance because New Mexico will never give them that chance.” The Democrats in New Mexico say that is total nonsense.
“New Mexicans certainly don’t approve of
pulling families apart or putting kids in cages,” said New Mexico
Democratic Party Chairwoman Marg Elliston. “We’re ready for leadership that celebrates
our immigrant communities, not demonizes them.”
The only sustained applause that Trump received
at his rally was his pledge to uphold Second Amendment gun rights.
“I will never, ever allow [the Democrats] to
take away your sacred right to keep and bear arms,” Trump said, totally overstating
the gun policy proposals of some Democrats.
Trump also forcefully defended the character
and integrity of Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh, calling him “a
great, brilliant man” and urging resignations at the New York Times,
which reported over the weekend new accusations of sexual abuse against
Kavanaugh.
Trump actually predicted that he would win a far
greater share of the Hispanic vote than all the polls currently suggest. That is because of, not in spite of, his
hard-line immigration policies.
Trump really ended his rally with what should
upset most Hispanics because he referred
to Hispanics as being separate from being regular Americans. He did that by, just as he did with his
comment of “my African American”, he ended his rally with: “…to be honest.
We love our Hispanics!”
