THE STEPS TO TAKE FOR SURVIVAL AS TRUMP’S CHIEF-OF-STAFF
…Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ family was asked to
leave a Washington restaurant because she continues to lie for President Trump
Three decorated US Generals were humiliated in
Trump’s White House.
There is now some very good advice from the
award-winning, Washington Post op-ed
writer Dana Milbank, for anyone that
agrees to take the next Donald Trump, Chief-of-Staff position.
Mr. Milbank is giving the follow advice for
surviving any job in the Trump administration.
This is his list of six steps of survival as Trump’s Chief-of-Staff. I will then add my own advice for each step.
- First, add a therapist to your list of
Doctors.
- Don’t quit your day job, take a leave of
absence.
- If you aren’t married, get married,
because people who work for Trump, can’t get dates.
- Along with finding a therapist, hire a
lawyer right away.
- Open new accounts at Uber Eats &
Instacart under a pseudonym.
- Above all, try to have fun!
Now, here are my comments on Milbank’s recommendations:
First, add a therapist to your list of
Doctors. If you actually agreed to take this Trump position, you probably have no
experience in government or in working in Washington DC. You also realize that Trump’s own personal
lawyer just got three years in prison, while you heard the lawyer’s tearful statements
about the mental stress he went through over ten years of working for Donald Trump. Therefore, the idea of having a full-time therapist on
your speed dial will be a very good option.
Don’t quit your day job, take a leave of
absence. As one of several communications directors, Anthony
Scaramucci, under Donald Trump, only lasted 10 days.
In addition, in order to keep her job as Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee
Sanders has had to lie constantly for the president. If you are unable to do the same, or if you
screw-up and actually tell the truth in an interview, you had better have a
place to return to, after you are fired.
If you aren’t married, get married, because
people who work for Trump, can’t get dates. If you are married, you will
need to tell your wife that you will be coming home late every night, you will also
need to work on the weekends and you will be seeing your therapist two or three
times per week. Better yet, if you are married,
just don’t take the job. If you do anyway , it
will most likely cause your wife to file for divorce after less than 6 months.
Along with finding a therapist, hire a lawyer right away. You must be aware that five former advisers to Trump, including:
Michael Cohen, Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and George Papadopoulos,
have already pleaded guilty or they have been convicted. It is also appearing that perhaps Roger Stone,
Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, and even Ivanka Trump, could all be in
jeopardy as well. I would suggest that anyone working for the president should
have an attorney on retainer.
Open new accounts at Uber Eats &
Instacart under a pseudonym. Multiple employees of the White House such as Sarah Huckabee
Sanders and Homeland Security
Secretary Kirsten Nielsen, have either been heckled at, or asked to leave, Washington eating
establishments. This was primarily done due
to their support of President Trump.
Having good food delivered to your home or to the back door of the White House on those late working nights, this would be a good-eating insurance policy.
Above all, try to have
fun! Look
at it this way, if you were to take the job, you would be the 3rd presidential Chief-of Staff in two years. Working for
Trump were John F. Kelly, H.R.
McMaster and Michael Flynn, who were all highly decorated generals, before
their humiliations in the White House. Since Trump’s Chief of Staff is as disposable
as a used paper towel, what is there to worry about? You might as well just play it by ear and
have fun when you can. As Milbank says, “There’s little to lose, and worst case is,
you could wind up in jail, which isn’t that bad, because, if you are single, you
couldn’t get a date anyway.”
The sad point is, that this is a humorous
look at the current situation in the White
House. In addition, it’s also close to the truth and is highly dangerous for the
continued survival of this great nation.
This president attacks the
free press, calling them liars and “fake
news”. For that to come from the
elected head of our government, that could a first step to the end of our
democratic nation. Some people already say that under
Donald Trump, the United States is becoming a “Banana Republic”.
That could be closer to the truth than any American
wants to admit.
