AS WITH LAURA INGRAHAM, A BOYCOTT OF TRUMP IS WHAT IS NEEDED

Ingraham went on vacation in hopes of stopping her exodus of advertisers.

 

I have always wondered why Laura Ingraham was able to demand such a large audience on the Fox Network.  Ingraham has consistently had a seriously sharp tongue and she has tended to always take an aggressive attack without ever really listening.

 

To me it seemed appropriate after Ingraham made negative comments about the Parkland shooting survivor ,David Hogg, with a 4.2 point grade average, having been rejected from a handful of major colleges.  Ingraham said that he was “whining about the rejections”.

 

For someone that hasn’t had to deal with surviving from the bullets from an assault rifle, and not having to seeing her friends dying and bleeding all around her, the bully Ingraham has now found herself in dire straits, and the fate of her Fox show is still in question.

 

Things are pretty bad when a Fox show host has to take a vacation just to escape the brouhaha that she brought upon herself with her wise-ass remarks.  Even her apology wasn’t very sincere and it appeared that all she was doing was trying to stop the continued string of losing her advertisers.

So far, her show has lost the following advertisers: Nutrish, Sleep Number, AT&T, Allstate, Esurance, Rachael Ray’s Dog Food, Bayer Liberty Mutual, Arby’s, TripAdvisor, Nestle, Wayfair, Rocket Mortgage by Quickens Loans, Expedia and Hulu, and Hogg has called for a boycott of any advertisers that stay with Ingraham’s show.

 

In the context of Ingraham’s very long bullying career in right-wing media, sniping at a teenager over college admissions is perhaps one of her less obscene stunts.  The pulling out of Ingraham show is more proof that when investors withhold investments en masse, it’s because they’ve determined that potential hazards outweigh any potential gains.

 

Since the Fox Network decided to become the Fox / Trump network, many companies have decide that the best bet is the morally correct one. 

Conservatives are learning this the hard way, even when companies decide the best bet is the morally correct one, for supporting a less-than-honest US president as Fox does, that will cause a potential exodus, as we are now witnessing with the Laura Ingraham Show. 

 

My hope is that the average American, (not the dyed-in-the wool Trump supporter),but those that actually look at what’s happening within our politics starts to act the same way against the current Trump administration. 

 

A boycott of that operation is what is needed to get this nation back on track as the greatest nation on earth.
