DONALD J. TRUMP NEVER MAKES A MISTAKE: JUST ASK HIM!
……Trump and his Sec. of State, Rex
Tillerson
Three advisers have confirmed that
Trump said he wanted a “10 fold increase in nuclear devices”.
The following
are three Tweets from our president with an explanation as to the real truth in
the president’s Tweet.
·
My first order as President was to renovate and modernize
our nuclear arsenal. It is now far stronger and more powerful than ever
before....
This is both
the truth and a bare-faced lie. It is
true it was one of the president’s first orders, but the order was actually a
request for a review on the status of the current US Nuclear Arsenal. That review is still in process, therefore,
we are not, “now far stronger and more powerful
than ever before”.
·
Hopefully we will never have to use this power, but there
will never be a time that we are not the most powerful nation in the world!
There is
nothing to support that the United States will, or will not, remain as the
strongest and most powerful nation in the world. However, under the poor leadership of this
president, anything is possible.
·
Fake @NBCNews made up a story that I wanted a
"tenfold" increase in our U.S. nuclear arsenal. Pure fiction, made up
to demean. NBC = CNN!
Once again,
another Trump presidential bare-faced
lie.
It has been
well reported that last Summer, President Donald Trump said he wanted a nearly
tenfold increase in the US nuclear arsenal.
This was said during a gathering of the nation’s highest-ranking
national security leaders, and this is according to statements from three
officials who were in the room.
All this came
about because Trump was shown a slide that charted the steady reduction of US
nuclear weapons since the late 1960s. Trump indicated he wanted a bigger
stockpile, not the bottom position on that downward-sloping curve.
According to
the officials present, among Trump’s advisers, were the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Officials had briefly explained the legal and
practical issues regarding a nuclear buildup.
In addition, how the current US military is stronger today than it was
at the height of the buildup. In following interviews, they told NBC News that no such nuclear expansion
is/was planned.
This was the
meeting that we are now aware that the Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson,
called the president a “Moron”. This Tillerson statement on Trump also came after
Trump’s bizarre speech to the 2017 Boy Scout’s Jamboree. The Trump speech covered everything from
politics; of course his wonderful and record setting 2016 election; (which it wasn’t), and a group of what
the press has since come to call; “29
cringe-worthy Trump statements and miss-statements.”
So, why would
the Sec. of State call his boss a “Moron”? (And
BTW: just what does the word “Moron”
mean?
Let’s take this
last pert first. Here’s the origin of
the word “Moron” which was originally a medical term: "Moron" was coined in 1910 by
psychologist Henry H. Goddard from the Ancient Greek word “moros”, which meant "dull"
and this was used to describe a person with a mental age of between 8 and 12. It
was once applied to people with an IQ of 51–70. This is one degree superior to "imbecile" (IQ of 26–50) and
superior in two degrees to "idiot"
(IQ of 0–25). The word moron, along with others including, "idiotic", "imbecilic", "stupid", and "feeble-minded", were formerly descriptors
in the psychological community, but they are now seldom used by psychologists. Moron is used more commonly as an insult than as
a psychological term.
OK, so now we
fully understand what the Sec. of State had called his boss.
Well, it must
then be understood that the comment could have been made because Rex Tillerson
was at one time an Eagle Scout and he
was a former president of the Boy Scouts of America. That’s not to mention that Rex’s father, was
also a former president of the Boy Scouts. Tillerson was seen shaking his head while listening
to the president’s speech to the Boy Scouts.
But getting
back to Trump and the US Nuclear Arsenal.
You must remember that this is the presidential candidate that did not
understand what is referred to as the US Nuclear Triad.
Hell, even I knew that the US Nuclear Triad was
the ability of the United States to attack its foreign enemies from three
different operations. That includes our ground
based nuclear missiles, the nuclear submarine based missiles and with stealth
bombers and their airborne delivered nuclear bombs/missiles.
Senator Bob
Corker’s comments that “what the
president does and says could initiate the start of World War III”, that is
very true. Trump’s comments towards the
young ambitious leader such as Kim Jong Un of North Korea, they could un-lease
a nuclear confrontation with a country where it’s leader has continually convinced
its people that it could actually win a nuclear confrontation with the United
States.
In addition, Trump’s
additional feelings against the Iranian Nuclear deal sets him poised to set off
a fresh confrontation with Iran by not certifying that Tehran is in compliance
with the 2015 nuclear deal.
The reality is
that any increase in America’s nuclear arsenal would not only break with
decades of a US nuclear doctrine, it would also violate the international
disarmament treaties signed by every president since Ronald Reagan. Trump needs to understand that he is the
US president, not a dictator.
Nonproliferation
experts have also warned that such a move to increase the arsenal would set off
another global arms race.
…Here is a file photo of an inert
Minuteman 3 missile in a training launch tube at Minot Air Force Base, N.D. The process of the president issuing a nuclear
attack is rehearsed 3 times, every 24 hours.
It only takes 7-10 minutes to launch the first ICBM.
“If Trump were
to increase the nuclear numbers, the Russians would match him, and the Chinese”
would ramp up their nuclear ambitions, Joe Cirincione, a nuclear expert and an MSNBC contributor, said, referring to
the president.
“There hasn’t been a military mission that’s
required a nuclear weapon in 71 years,” Cirincione said.
But it must be
understood that in one of Trump’s first session to be brought up to speed on
our military readiness, Trump had asked his advisers three times: “Why do
we have so many nuclear devices if we can’t use them?” The president obviously hasn’t been curious
enough to read up and understand the concept of “nuclear deterrent”. The one
man in the world that could easily start WWIII, and there’s no system in place to
stop him, if he were to push the button.
Here is what
those attending said occurred at the meeting where Trump wanted to increase the
US nuclear arsenal:
Officials
present said that Trump’s comments on a significantly increased arsenal came in
response to a briefing slide that outlined America’s nuclear stockpile over the
past 70 years.
“The president referenced the highest number
on the chart, about 32,000 in the late 1960s, and he told his team he wanted
the US to have that many now.”
The Pentagon
is currently undergoing the long-planned posture review. Modernizing the
arsenal is a step presidents continuously take that doesn’t put the U.S. in
violation of treaty obligations, Cirincione said.
“You don’t get in trouble for
modernizing," he said. "You
do get in trouble if you do one of two things: if you increase the numbers. The
strategic weapons are treaty limited. Two, if you build a new type of weapon
that is prohibited by a treaty."
It’s unclear if
it was the Pentagon briefing or the Boy Scout’s speech that prompted Tillerson
to call the president a “moron” after
the meeting broke up. But the officials
who attended the two-hour session said the meeting included a number of tense
exchanges.
But once
again, the president has lied when he called out NBC as offering “Fake News”
that he had wanted a “10 fold increase in
nuclear devices”. Three sources
confirmed that it was something that Trump commented on during the meeting.
Did he later
change is mind after hearing his advisors?
Possibly.
But why not
just admit that he changed his mind after receiving more info?
Oh that’s
right. Trump would then have to admit
that he made a mistake, and Donald J. Trump never lies and never make a
mistake. Just ask him.
