CONSERVATIVES THAT DEMONSTRATE THEY ARE FULL OF HATE

…Sarah Palin’s Daughter, Bristol

Some of these conservatives really out-did themselves in their hating.

I haven’t written about old Rush-bo Limbaugh for months and it’s been very nice to focus on telling the truth about other misled conservatives.

But last week, even the overly large-one pretty much out-did himself in spewing his unreal venom.  The verbal atrocities that came out of his fowl mouth really confirmed him as the vile person he is in real life.

The whole episode started as the world wept at the front-page photo image of the Syrian toddler that had drowned.  This occurred when an overloaded refugee boat had capsized near a Turkish beach last week.

Rush became unhinged as it gave him the opportunity to chastise and go after these desperate people fleeing their war-torn homes in Syria and Iraq.  Could he have been sympathetic to their circumstances? Of course not.  He instead just declared that these fleeing families were only looking for free handouts from these European countries.

Limbaugh’s imagination then came up with a bogus number as to how many Syrian and other Middle Eastern refugees (300,000) were coming to America.  Per Rush, they were also coming in these record numbers due to a non-existent US presidential directive.  All total lies, but what else do we expect from this over-size jerk?

The actual number of refugees according to The Guardian coming to the US is about 1,500, and some US Senators are asking to take-in five times that amount.  (You’d have to round up a few hundred thousand refugees to get to Rush’s numbers.)

But the big blow-hard didn’t stop there.  Rush just doesn’t buy the “refugee” story.

Per Limbaugh, "If they are fleeing war," he sneered, "why aren’t they happy to stop and live in Turkey? Or Greece?"  Well, if he would shut-up and do some of his own fact-checking, he would have learned that many have stopped in the neighboring countries. One must remember, over four million refugees have fled the affected areas.

But Rush continued, "They want the good life in Germany, Sweden, Turkey, Denmark, that’s where all the benefits are. In Denmark, I think you can smoke dope all over the street. Or is that Amsterdam? They're human beings. They want the good life. The good life meaning big free welfare benefits. A better life that generations of hardworking Europeans have built up is now being swarmed over by these so called refugees."

As one liberal writer has stated, “I think it’s time to designate Rush Limbaugh as a one-man hate group.”

Hear, hear….

Then we have the quitter and ½ Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin.  Another individual I haven’t written about for a while that also got herself back into the news.

Mama Bear Palin and her daughter Bristol are recovering from the trauma of having the president insult them by visiting Alaska last week.

So, what was Sarah so very upset about Obama’s visit?  It seems that President Obama did not visit one of the few glaciers in the world that the scientist-Sarah claims is expanding.  Obviously, that would have apparently cured the president of his irrational belief in what Sarah calls, “climate junk science”.  In a column Palin wrote for the Independent Journal Review, Palin also said Obama failed to visit oil workers during the trip. But her real “gotcha” moment was when she talked about the big carbon footprint the president left with his 33-car convoy.

Now that all seems to be a strange concern for someone that says she doesn’t believe in all that “junk science” about climate change.

But Sarah’s daughter Bristol was even more upset about the president’s trip.  This was seriously evidenced by the number of exclamation points Bristol used in her Facebook post:

Per Bristol, “I wish we could add up how much this trip costs the tax payers dollars……….. They probably had to BARGE limousines here!!!!!!! They rented out an entire TOWER at our nicest hotel here? A TOWER!!!!!!!!!!  They virtually shut down most of downtown Anchorage!!!  So many protesters here in Alaska this morning were awaiting his arrival.. This is just a joke for us..

I’m completely dumbfounded by his trip here. Why again?  She continued, “This is the second time Obama has visited Alaska during his presidency!!!!! Why is he persecuting them?!!!!!!”

On the whole shocking Mt. McKinley renaming business, Bristol said:  By the way, no one is buying the ‘Denali is what the Alaskans have called it for years’ line. I’ve never called the mountain Denali .. and neither does anyone I know …”

Well Bristol, that is except for that time your own mother called it “Denali”, in that very public speech when she announced she was resigning as the governor of Alaska.  You know, you were there.  But I guess, that is just you know, one of those pesky details……

Well now, good ole FOX NEWS just doubled down on its disgusting hate characterization of “Black Lives Matter’.

All lives including black lives matter...which is a pretty innocuous claim. They all matter, so why is that even controversial?

But as we have learned, FOX and other conservatives hate the phrase, and they will use virtually any excuse to tear the activist organization down and convince viewers it is a hate group.

One of the strongest FOX pundits against the movement, FOX’s Bill O’Reilly is devoting more and more air-time to the claim of it being a hate group.  FOX’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck has now questioned why it is not being called such a group, and Geraldo Rivera tweeted the same ridiculous idea again last week.

After a Texas lawman was recently gunned down, FOX trotted out their favorite anti- #BlackLivesMatter lawman, Wisconsin’s Milwaukee Country Sheriff, David Clarke.  Clarke is more than happy to blame the Black Lives Matter movement's anti-police brutality rhetoric anytime a police officer is killed. FOX really likes the optics of showing Clarke on cable TV as Sheriff Clarke is himself black.

As Media Matters has pointed out, FOX knows all about hate groups. The network regularly consults with several groups listed by the Southern Poverty Law Center as hate groups.

As examples, they regularly work with the virulently anti-gay Family Research Council, the anti-immigrant Federation for Immigration Reform, which has white supremacist ties, and the anti-gay American Family Association.

So, yes. FOX NEWS knows all about hate, and they are more than happy to continue promoting it.

Finally, there is the Kentucky county clerk, Kim Davis, who grabbed the headlines last week for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples on her personal religious grounds. Naturally, swarms of right-wing panderers and Republican candidates rushed to her defense. Here is one of the lowest-of-the-low comments coming from the far-right last week.

Now some people seem to think Ted Cruz is the smart, articulate Republican in the GOP race for president.  However, Cruz had this to say about Ms. Davis on the day she was jailed for her contempt of court.  She was actually sent to jail for refusing an order to do her government job according to the law, not for her personal beliefs.

But this was the bazaar comment from the senator: “Today, for the first time ever, the government arrested a Christian woman for living according to her faith. This is wrong. This is not America.”

In the real America, using your government job to violate the law and deny people their rights, this is the actual First Amendment issue that counts here.

The judge who sentenced Ms. Davis made it clear that since she refused to follow the law and the latest decision of the US Supreme Court, she had to go to jail like any other law breaker.

Davis’ response is to say that she does her job according to “God’s law”.  This is what she told applicants to whom she denied marriage licenses.  Obviously, that explanation didn't fly as she is now sitting in the local jail.

Cruz says he “Stands with Kim Davis,” and maybe he does, but he’s not the one that was left sitting in jail.   So apparently, Cruz stands with those people who use their power to deny others their lawful rights. Per Cruz: “I stand with every American that the Obama administration is trying to force to choose between honoring his or her faith or complying with a lawless court opinion.”

What the hell does all this have to do with the Obama administration?  The judge involved was appointed by George W. Bush!  So that’s total nonsense, but think about the statement: "a lawless court opinion" ?  I might be mistaken, but I thought the court was the law…?

However, Cruz didn’t stop there. “Those who are persecuting Kim Davis believe that Christians should not serve in public office.”

I’m sorry, a ridiculous attempt of stringing words together grammatically correct does not make them any less wrong or less insane.

So much for the latest right-wing hate-mongers.
