COHEN TESTIMONY “SNOW-BALL” GATHERED 81 INDIVIDUALS FOR QUESTIONING
…Allen Weisselberg, Trump’s CFO is one of
those to be questioned
Press Secretary says that the Dems are after
the president, she’s correct!
The GOP
obviously did not understand just what the response would be from the public
testimony of the president’s former “Personal
Attorney & Fixer, Michael Cohen”.
Now that the Democrats are running the House, and since the Republicans refused to do their job in
oversight of the executive branch, the Dems, Jerrold Nadler, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee has asked the
following individuals to come and talk to them under oath. (If they refuse to come, they will be subpoenaed.) These are the
first wave of those individuals that the Cohen testimony “snow-ball” gathered from his testimony and those that dealt with
the people that Mr. Cohen referenced.
The two people not on the list are the
president’s daughter, Ivanka, and the former Chief of Staff, John Kelly. The reason is that these two are being
considered for special questioning in another investigation.
These requests suggest that the committee
Democrats are probing a wide range of topics, from Russia’s interference in the
2016 presidential election to the Trump Organization’s efforts to pay off women
who claim to have had affairs with Trump.
The president’s Press Secretary, Sarah
Huckabee Sanders, has issued a statement saying that this is just a fishing
expedition and that the “Dems are not
after the truth, they are after the president.”
Actually, they are after the truth, and that truth will most likely
nail the president. We can at least hope
that’s the case.
