TRUMP LIES, WHILE THOSE IN THE WHITE HOUSE LIE TO EACH OTHER

The White House is acting more & more like a Mafia operation.

It all starts with the Chief-of-Staff, the former US General, John Kelly.  Even though he was originally considered as the “soul and conscience of the White House”.  Instead of being the “soul and conscience”, Kelly has instead caught the “lying flu” from the president. 

“Trump lies and never backs off, and Kelly continues to insist that Trump is right.  Kelly is now a big fat liar,” a White House official told the Washington Post. “

Kelly within the Trump administration is considered as the Senior White House Member of an operation very similar to the Gambino crime organization.

A White House official told the Washington Post: “To put it in terms the general would understand, his handling of the Porter scandal amounts to dereliction of duty.”

You may recall that Rob Porter, a former top aide to President Trump, was force to resign due to the spousal abuse of his two former wives.  It really hit the fan when a picture of his first former wife showed a black eye that she says he gave her.  His second wife also said that Porter’s abuse caused her to leave the marriage.  Kelly, who was considering Porter for a promotion, initially defended the aide before more details of the abuse allegations emerged, including the picture of the wife with the black eye.

A Trump top aide later stated that Kelly said he knew nothing about Porter’s past and he was "shocked by the allegations" that spurred the aide's resignation.  But the former wives have said Kelly was made aware of porter’s marital issues.

You may also recall that this same Chief of Staff Kelly, appeared in 2017 on TV criticizing Congresswoman, Frederica Wilson of Southern Florida.  In the video of that appearance, Kelly totally misrepresented a 2015 speech Wilson made at the opening of a new FBI building in Miramar, Florida. 

The video of Kelly shows him making totally false comments about the 2015 dedication of the FBI building.  Kelly said “she [Wilson] focused in her speech that she was responsible for getting the money for the building”.

However, in the South Florida Sun Sentinel video of her speech, Wilson never said a word about her obtaining the funds for the FBI building, and she’s never claimed that she did.

And to this day, Kelly has refused to apologize to the Florida representative.

During that same TV appearance, Kelly also criticized Ms. Wilson for listening in on President Donald Trump’s conversations with the families of four soldiers killed in an Ambush in Niger.  But once again Kelly was way off base.  Wilson overheard that conversation because she was in a car with the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson and Johnson’s mother on the way to the airport for the arrival of Johnson’s body, and the call had been placed on a speaker-phone.

Once again, no apology from Kelly.

But the lying doesn’t stop with those in the White House.

Trump’s former “Fixer” lawyer, Michael Cohen, his lying has been a clear aspect and a qualification of his personal résumé. 

When The Wall Street Journal reported that Cohen paid $130,000 to adult porn star Stormy Daniels before the election, Cohen issued a furious and ungrammatical denial. “You’re obsessive drive to prove a false narrative, one that has been rebuked by all parties, must come to an end,” he insisted. His denial is totally false.  As it happens, Cohen was lying not only to the media but to people who trusted him. “According to multiple sources who were speaking to Cohen at the time, he had told friends privately in the initial aftermath of the Journal story that news of his role in the six-figure payment was ‘bullshit’ and ‘fake news,’” reports the Daily Beast.

It’s now general knowledge that not only did Cohen pay Daniels the $130,000, Donald Trump repaid that same amount to Cohen.

Of course, we are all aware of Trump’s continual lying.  He lies not only to all of America, to everybody around him, but he also lies to himself. 

CNN reports, “Three sources familiar with the President’s thinking say he remains unconvinced that Russia interfered in the presidential election.”

This remains true even after the US intelligence officials he personally selected have told him otherwise. Any comments on “Russian interference on his behalf”, this absolutely insults Trump.  He feels it casts doubt on the legitimacy of his election.  It is unknown whether Trump would have lost the election without the Russian hacking of his opponent’s emails which did generate many anti-Clinton email stories.  But we also don’t know if he would have won anyway. 

Russian hacking being the reason that Trump’s team was able to win a close game is totally pure conjecture.  But Trump refuses to accept that he may have benefited from Russia’s efforts.  That’s because his narcissism stretches to the point of totally warping reality.  Trump is one of those that believes that. “If you say it often enough, it will become the truth.”

No one knows exactly what Trump and his aides are trying to hide regarding the Russia scandal. But surely the fact that everybody, from the president on down, lies to each other and sometimes to themselves, they have apparently also been infected by the boss.

As with everything “Trump”, apparently the White House is just accepting that, “What’s good for the goose, is good for all those that support the goose.”
