TRUMP GIVES HIMSELF AN “A+”, THE POLLS GIVE HIM A “D-“ OR AN “F”

…Donald Trump on Fox News

Trump thinks that the former president is organizing against him.

You may recall how President Trump repeatedly stated how he “loved” the stolen and leaked information from “Wikileaks”.   It is now suspected, that info he received was originally stolen by the Russian hackers, and passed on to Wikileaks for helping Trump’s campaign.  And that info was used by Trump against his political opponents during the 2016 campaign.  But now that he's in office, he's totally against the idea of political leaks, especially when they are coming out of his own administration.

Now, we know that Donald Trump never admits that he has ever done anything wrong.  In fact, when asked in an interview if he had ever “asked for forgiveness from God”, of course his response was, “Why would I ever do that?”

Therefore, when he has had to respond to all the protests against his presidency and the demonstrations at congressional town hall meetings across the country, Trump of course just dismisses them as being organized by his political activist enemies.

Of those political enemies that we heard about during the campaign, there probably wasn’t anyone except Hillary, that he hated more than the then President Obama.  Now that Trump and the GOP are getting so much blow-back from these anti-Trump demonstrations, of course Trump is blaming it all on his opponents.  And in an interview on the Fox News Channel, Trump said that he believes his predecessor is helping to organize the protests.

"I think that President Obama is behind it because his people certainly are behind it," Trump said. "In terms of him being behind things, that's politics. It will probably continue."

Yes, it is true that Americans are continuing to flock to the Republican legislators' town hall meetings with questions about health care, immigration and more.

Trump made this comment during an interview at the White House with "Fox & Friends" anchors Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt.

In the interview, one of the Fox trio told Trump that Obama's political group, presumably Organizing for Action, the successor group to Obama's election campaigns, was helping to organize activists to demonstrate. The interviewer asked the president whether he suspected Obama himself was behind the efforts.  I think he is behind it," Trump said. "I also think it’s politics. That’s the way it is.”

Now, this is an interesting but easily expected comment from Trump.

Whenever possible, always put the blame on the supposed head of the opposition.  Even though, with the exception of one brief spotting of the former president in downtown New York City, all we have seen of the now “citizen Obama”, is pictures of him enjoying playing golf.  This was one of the former president’s activities on the vacation that he had promised wife Michelle upon leaving Washington.  There has been nothing to support the possible accusation that the former president is doing anything to organize activists against the current Commander-in-Chief.

I guess this current president, that for five years accused the former president of being born in Kenya, and being an illegitimate president, Trump apparently has once again decided to go after the former president.

Actually, the former president doesn’t have to do anything about going after President Trump.  What is going against Trump is totally organic and needs nothing from the former president.

Trump’s approval rating are in the dumper and are the absolute worst of any former president at this point after the inauguration.  That’s the foundation against Trump.

It is true that Trump’s efforts to follow through on his campaign promises is worth mentioning.  But as expected, even though he was not in office until January 20th, Trump is now trying to take credit for everything from the Stock Market increases and even the nation’s job increases in January.

Trump, also as expected, has gone after those town-hall demonstrators using social media, and tweeting that they were "so-called angry crowds" and that the demonstrations were "planned out by liberal activists."  So, according to Trump, this couldn’t have been people that disagree with his presidency that then got together on their own efforts.  Oh no, for President Trump, it could only be organized, liberal activist groups led by the former president.

As usual, Trump also ignores the seven most accurate polls numbers showing his low approval rating.  He only references the Rasmussen Poll, which out of the list of 15 major polling organizations, it is the most Republican/Conservative leaning American poll operation.

In the Fox News interview, , Trump of course offered himself high marks for his accomplishments to date in the White House, but he gave himself a “C” for his messaging, conceding that he has not been able to properly explain what he's done to date.  (Could it be that most of what Trump has achieved so far is all talk and executive orders, with no real action?)

"In terms of messaging, I would give myself a C or a C plus,” Trump said. “In terms of achievement, I think I'd give myself an “A+”.  Because I think I've done great things, but I don't think I have — I and my people, I don't think we've explained it well enough to the American public.”

For Trump to concede that he only has a “C” in anything, that could be looked at by us doubters as some level of progress.  But if you look at his overall approval ratings, he still has an “F” or “D-“ at best for most of us.
