SANDERS APPROACH TO AMERICA IS MUCH MORE REASONABLE THAN TRUMP’S

Below is a cartoonist view of where
Bernie Sanders is coming from.
Many Americans, especially the Baby Boomers, get very disturbed when the self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist, Senator Bernie Sanders, draws such enormous crowds, especially all those younger Millennial Americans.
When we Boomers were hiding under our desks in a drill, just in case of a nuclear attack during the cold war, the word “Socialist” meant a potential nuclear war with the USSR, or Union of Soviet Socialist Republic, now just known as “Russia”.
For us, the idea back then of a self-proclaimed “Socialist” in the White House would have been totally out of the question.
The true reality of Senator Sanders is that he believes in the socialist approach of those Nordic European countries that have government provided health care, equal pay for women, free higher education and paid family leave. Not the Soviet or Chinese “communist socialism” where the government is in charge of most all the facets of their citizen’s lives.

cartoon doesn’t even deal with health care for all, equal pay for women,
increased minimum wages, and family leave.
Based on the
bizarre approach that Donald Trump offers, this is a much more reasonable
attitude than the extremes of “The Donald”:
