DONALD TRUMP “DOUBLES-DOWN” ON HIS CLAIM OF SEEING 9/11 CELEBRATIONS IN JERSEY CITY

…Palestinians in East Jerusalem celebrating the 9/11 attacks....but not in Jersey City

Trump gets compared to Hitler’s rise, then he goes after Muslim citizens in Jersey City.

Well, I guess it was bound to happen that if Dr. Ben Carson can bring up Hitler, Nazi’s and rabid dogs, it was inevitable that Donald Trump would try to one-up Dr. Carson, and with an even more ridiculous statement.  But this time, “The Donald” has hit on a few situations and statements that should make his followers to start asking some serious questions.

One regular columnist for the Post has now finally made the inevitable comparison of Trump’s rise in the political arena to the rise of Hitler in the late 1920’s.

At a recent rally in Birmingham, Alabama, as it is with most all politicians from either party, they will all have protestors disrupting their events.  Some politicians are better than others in dealing with these disruptions, and Donald Trump has shown that he has no tolerance for anyone that interrupts his events.

In this case, a local black activist, Mercutio Southall Jr., who has been frequently arrested in protest demonstrations, interrupted Trump with shouts of “Black lives matter!”

Instead of dealing with this by just shutting up and letting the protestor have his say and then get escorted out, Trump started yelling “Get him out of here. Throw him out.”  As Trumps local bodyguards tried to get Mr. Southall out of the room, a skirmish broke out and Southall fell to the ground.  He was then surrounded by several white people who punched and kicked him. As security officers finally got Southall out of the building, he was repeatedly pushed and shoved by people in the crowd.
The Post columnist that made the Hitler comparison was Colbert I. King, and here is how he made the comparison:

Trump, unlike most other candidates, sanctioned the crowd’s behavior.  Said the Republican front-runner on the Fox News Channel on Sunday morning about Southall and the assaulting crowd: “Maybe he [Southall] should have been roughed up.”  Mr. King continued, “That is how the Sturmabteilung, also known as [Hitler’s] ‘Storm Troopers’ or Brownshirts got their start. They were the bullies formed by Adolf Hitler in Germany in the 1920s to defend his rallies. They, too, “roughed up” people, push and shoved, and threw out Hitler’s rivals, all with the future German Chancellor’s approval.”

But the point here is that after those questionable actions, Trump then changed the subject and stated something that was seriously unsettling.  He then declared that he had personally witnessed on 9/11, “thousands and thousands of middle-easterners across the river in Jersey City, that were celebrating and partying as they watched the twin towers falling in downtown Manhattan.”

Now he has said this was shown on TV, but no one else has remembered that happening and no one has been able to find any video tape or even other people that remember seeing that occur.  But no matter, as Trump has now doubled-down on those statements.

The truth is that some Palestinians in East Jerusalem were recorded celebrating and giving the “V for victory” sign after hearing of an attack on America by Muslims.  But no one has said, or remembered or seen, any videos of Muslims celebrating in Jersey City.

Trump has since stated that he wants data bases and surveillance on any Muslim Syrian refugees that are allowed into the US.

The following question continues to come up.  Does Donald Trump really believe in all the strange things he says and does he even care about the truth of what says?  Apparently not.

It also brings up a concern that later came up on a local talk radio show.

The show’s host made the statement that after this Trump bullying business in Birmingham and after saying these things about the people in Jersey City, the talk show’s host then stated, “If there are still people out there that believe that Trump should be our president, these people need to see someone.  They need to seek some mental health help.”

I have to say, I have a hard time arguing with that talk show host.
