AMERICA COMMENTS ON THE TOP 25 “MOST INFLUENTIAL RIGHT-WING AMERICANS”
…Yes, it is disgusting, but Rush
Limbaugh is still considered “the most influential right-wing conservative”.
This is a repeat of the “most
influential righty” list, but this time it comes with un-altered comments from
real Americans.
Back in
November 2013, I publish the conservative, Townhall’s list of the most
influential far Right Americans. That
list (shown below) was recently re-published on-line, with no new changes or
additions.
However, in this
recent republishing, this time they allowed online comments to be posted, and
when I checked there were already 69 comments and counting.
I thought my
readers would find it interesting to read just some of what other Americans
think about this list of what is considered the “most influential Right-Wing Conservatives”.
Obviously, I won’t list all 69 comments, but I will list the ones that present the overall feel of the comments in general. I must say I was pleased that many (but not all) of the comments were in line with my own opinions. Enjoy!

·
Scary
Bunch. Looks like the same crew that
would take us back to the days of witch hunts in Salem Mass.
Can you just picture them in robes and funny hats......?

·
Beck, Rush,
Palin, etc,,,really? They spew nonsense, they never debate, they cherry pick
news, they make up stuff, quote out of context, etc. Rush repeats himself over
and over and over.....he's boringgggggggggggg.
In order to make an informed and intelligent decision, one must seek out
the most objective new sources and one must look at hard facts, numbers. The
likes of Beck, Rush, and Palin is the last place you'll find this...
·
Interesting
how few of them are actual elected officials, which tells me how much power
extra-governmental elements have in this country. It used to be those in
government used pawns or surrogates outside government to do their dirty
business. Now, it is those in business and outside government who use inside pawns and surrogates
to do their dirty business. The PEOPLE? None among this top 25.
·
If you sum up all
of their IQs together, you may reach 100, but I doubt it!
·
What a
pathetic group of losers!
·
Damn, was
hoping to see Senator Tom Coburn on the list.
·
NO ONE is more
effective in getting genuine opposition elected than Governor "Momma
Grizzly" Palin. NO ONE! If it were not for Sarah Palin's efforts for electing Independent
Conservatives to Congress, they would not be so feared and effective in
challenging the status quo today!
·
The hosts of
'CarTalk' used to joke that they were 'unencumbered
by the thought process'. It could be argued that Rush is 'unencumbered by the truth'. For hour
after hour he spews his venom, occasionally stopping only to let one of his
calling supporters confirm what he'd said. The beauty of talk radio - you don't
need to fact check. Just talk louder & louder... Another chapter in the end
of western civilization.
·
A rogues'
gallery at least.
·
As a
registered Republican, I STRONGLY BELIEVE that these people were hired by the
Democrats to DESTROY the Republican Party.
·
You are
delusional if you think anyone would believe you are a 'genuine' Republican.
·
I feel the
pain of folks who consider themselves conservative, but willing to listen to
reason, negotiate and create compromise for the good of the country. Although I
consider myself to be more of a moderate progressive, I believe the country
needs balance from CIVILIZED folks with different views. I feel sorry for more
mainstream Republicans who are disgusted by the power of the Tea Party
bottom-feeding obstructionists. Unfortunately, I have seen the same creeps turn
on anyone with a voice of reason.
·
Laura Ingram's
name should be on and close to the top of the list.
·
The loser's “Hall of Fame”.
·
Which of these
saw the essential role of government in educating the youth? Which of
these favored "sensible gun control"? Which of these saw the
central role of government in demanding mental and physical fitness of the
population? Which of these shunned religion in favor of promoting the saving of the planet, and which is closer to having democratic
Ideals? I say it’s a dead tie of none.
·
Apparently a
lot of these nay saying commenters can't read. The title says 'The Right's Most
Influential'. It didn't say 'most conservative', 'smartest', 'best
liked', or any of the other things they're arguing about. It says Most
Influential. I know, it's a very big word for some of you, but you can look it up.
·
I've always
been under the impression that "the Right" and
"conservative" were used interchangeably.
·
That is a huge
mistake and you have been incorrectly taught to think this way. "Right and
Left" are identical. They are simply two sides fighting over the same
spoils (who gets to rape the taxpayers next) Conservatives believe no
side wins the right to rape us. Think of George Bush and Obama as the Crips and
the Bloods fighting over who gets to sack the neighborhood; of course it’s true
that Obama's appetite for pillage is much larger then Bush's was (double Bush's).

The U.S.of A.
had its little experiment in limited government after it won independence from
Britain: it was called the Articles of Confederation. Citizens recognized that
they needed a stronger central government to protect the individual rights
which they cherished. The course for a strong central government in the
U.S.of A. was set when the United States of America suppressed the insurrection
of the Confederate States which justified their denial of human rights upon the
supremacy of state rights.
Well, there’s
a good cross-section of the comments on the list of 25 most influential on the
right. There were about 10 negative
comments about those on the list, to every comment in support of those on the list. I believe that’s about the same percentage of
admitted Republicans in the country to those that claim to be Democrats and/or
Independents.
The unfortunate part is that the wealthy Republicans got smart years ago and acquired the majority of the nation’s radio stations. Therefore, there are about 8 right-wing stations to every left leaning or middle-of-the-road broadcast station. That meaning, it’s more and more difficult to hear the truth today, via the nation’s radio airwaves. Fortunately, with the growth of satellite radio, there is a better opportunity for listeners to receive clear signals from both the left and the right for more balance in talk radio. However, it will take a number of years, possibly decades, before satellite broadcasts ever overcome the negative output of the current conventional broadcast airwaves.
