FOX ANCHOR AGAIN MAKES AN ASS OUT OF HIMSELF

The “Black Lives Matters” movement isn’t going away, just because a BLM mural is attacked

Last weekend, two individuals, David Nelson and Nicole Anderson spread black paint over a yellow Black Lives Matter mural displayed on the street in front of a Northern California city’s courthouse. The BLM mural had been sanctioned by the city’s officials.

The ignorant Fox News anchor and Trump supporter, Tucker Carlson praised the couple for defacing the BLM street mural, commending them for their “ bravery” and insisting that the authorities who charged them with a hate crime “should be impeached.”  (Sorry Tucker, you can’t impeach a District Attorney.)

After video of an angry Ms. Anderson painting over the mural went viral, the local District Attorney’s Office charged the pair with misdemeanor vandalism charges, and the DA included charging a hate crime.

Carlson had the couple on as guests for his week-day show, during which he applauded their actions and insisted they had only painted over “graffiti” that shouldn’t have been there in the first place.  He added that the city officials “are trying to make an example out of them” and that’s “completely outrageous.”  (The city officials actually made outrageous negative examples of these two BLM vandals.)

Mr. Nelson, who had grown up in that same California town, said he has “ no problem with Black people”, but was bothered by the BLM movement because “ they have a hidden agenda” and “ we’re sick of the narrative.”  Of course, Nelson didn’t tell us what that “hidden agenda” happens to be.

Fox’s Carlson, who has falsely described the Black Lives Matter movement as a “ terror organization” and he called it “poison,” as he wondered aloud what they thought about a statue that was ripped down in San Francisco, which he attributed to “ BLM activists”, but as expected, he offered no proof.

“ Why do you think you were charged with a hate crime?” Carlson asked.

“ It’s because we decided to stand against an organization we don’t agree with,” Nelson replied. “… We’re being silenced. It’s a cancel culture that we’re living in.”

David Nelson then called on more Americans to, “ band together and actually take to the streets.” He added that urgency is required “ because we are starting to lose ground here.”

Nelson also claimed a “ double standard” exists at the heart of the BLM debate, saying it’s OK for Black Lives Matter activists “ to burn down the country, terrorize America, actually kill people.”  (I know of nobody that thinks that's OK.)

“ They’ve done more harm than they’ve done good, Tucker,” Nelson added. “ When we stand up and give them a little iota, taste of their own medicine, this is the extreme measures that are being taken and we can’t let it happen. …” “ Man, you’ve got a lot of brass,” an impressed Carlson said. “ This was a brave thing to do.”

Ms. Anderson, who actually initiated the idea to paint over the BLM mural, didn’t have much to say during the interview, mainly insisting that “ I just don’t want them to defund our police … Thank God we have them.”

Tucker Carlson concluded the interview by saying he hopes conservatives rally to their defense because their situation “ is outrageous.”

As the BLM movement increases across the country, and the “Defund the Police” call is being turned into a call to change the roll of the police back to be what they were originally designed for, I think Fox and Mr. Carlson is going to end up being left out of the game.

The main goal today though, is to get rid of this president, to get the Covid-19 pandemic headed back in the right direction, and then to get the nation headed in the right direction.

As of today, the nation has no leadership, it has a totally non-functional Senate, and we have an “out-of-control” pandemic.

This is going to take more than just months to fix.
