TRUMP AND HIS FANS APPEAR TO BE VERY ILL PEOPLE
…This was the announcement posted about Trump’s
latest Tweet.
President Trump highly utilizes his 60 million
Twitter followers.
Trump just can’t stop lying, and he keeps
proving that he is a very sick man.
His latest dirty trick was of course, done through
Twitter.
This time, using his, “MAGA - MAKE AMERICA GREAT
AGAIN!” theme, Trump tweeted footage of Washington monuments and
government buildings, as orchestral music is thundering in the scene’s opening
seconds. This is interspersed with shots of former president Barack Obama. “First they ignore you,” the text against a
black background reads: “Then they laugh
at you. Then they call you racist.” The footage shows the Clintons and
comedians Rosie O’Donnell and Amy Schumer. Then, as the soundtrack swells, the
footage switches to images of Trump and the crowds at his rallies.
“Your vote,” the screen reads, “proved them all wrong.”
By late that night, Trump’s tweet had racked
up nearly 90,000 “likes” and 29,000 “retweets”.
However, a few hours later, the video was
blocked on all major sites like Twitter and YouTube.
The message was: “This media has been disabled in
response to a report by the copyright owner.”
BuzzFeed News first pointed out, that the dramatic
music groaning alongside the two-minute film was lifted from the Batman
film: “The Dark Knight Rises.” This is the 2012 film of director
Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy starring Christian Bale. The song from composer,
Hans Zimmer’s score is called “Why
Do We Fall”.
Warner Bros., the studio behind the film, was not a happy
camper.
“The use of Warner Bros.’ score from The Dark Knight Rises in
the campaign video was unauthorized,” a spokesman
told BuzzFeed News. “We are working through the appropriate legal
channels to have it removed.”
The clip is not an official campaign product,
but is just the work of a Trump fan who uploaded the video to: r/The_Donald, a sub-reddit on Reddit that is a video-clogged online
playground for Trump fans, alt-right trolls and many vast conspiracy-mongers. In other words, it’s a place for Trump’s mis-guided
fans, anti-Semetics, white supremacist and white nationalists.
The president has dipped into these controversial
on-line backwaters many times since he found his life on Twitter. Trump now regularly fires off content to his
nearly 60 million Twitter followers, regardless of its origin.
Fortunately, the pro-Trump clip was totally pulled off of the Internet late the next night.
You may recall that during the 2016 election,
then-candidate Trump retweeted a post / picture criticizing Hillary Clinton. The picture of Hillary featured an image of
the Jewish Star of David next to her
face. The image had originally surfaced on the online messaging board 8chan.
Time Magazine has stated that
this message board regularly features neo-Nazi and serious anti-Semitic content. After this was made clear on all the news
outlets, Trump was forced to deleted the tweet.
Back in July 2017, Trump tweeted out a feature
of him, body-slamming a CNN logo. Politico stated that this image was
the product of another Reddit user
who was also tied to racist and anti-Semitic features.
Just last month, the president shared a
tweet featuring a boy being patted down by an agent of the Transportation Security Administration. As
the Washington
Post reported, that clip had originally been shared by an QAnon
conspiracy theorist.
The latest shared video was apparently first
posted on r/The_Donald by the Reddit
user: knock-nevisTDF. According to the YouTube version of the account (which is also now deactivated), the feature was produced by MateyProductions. This is a 2006 incorporated British
video production company that is known for these kind of controversial
features.
That specific YouTube user account features a handful of pro-Trump
productions. Many, such as “President Donald Trump. How you like him
now? Tribute” and “Kavanaugh vs
the Democrats.” These all feature a similar mix of news footage, skyline shots of
D.C. and clips of Trump in action at his rallies.
Of course, the White House has not responded to a request for comment on the
video. And an email sent to an address
associated with MateyProductions has not been responded to.
On Reddit,
the user who claimed he had created the video sound-tracked by the Batman
music fielded congratulations from other r/The_Donald posters.
“Thanks
to all the patriots on here, it blew up!,” the user wrote “You could imagine my shock today when I was
told he [Trump] tweeted it! . . . My dad has his tweet printed so I can frame it, haha.”
Obviously, many of Trump’s fans are also very
sick.
