ACCORDING TO NEO-CONS: OBAMA’S IRAN DEAL IS "WORSE THAN MUNICH"
...Mr. "why even take the time to read it,”..... Senator Cornyn
The “War-Hawk” neocons have been
quiet lately, but now they are back in full swing.
Well, yes, the
mindless neocons are back.
And of course,
this time, the GOP Neocons didn’t
even have enough smarts to wait a couple of hours and pretend to have read the
details of the president’s Iran agreement before they denounced it on Twitter.
The official
announcement came across the wires just after 9:00PM on Saturday, and it stated
that negotiators in Geneva had reached an agreement on Iran’s nuclear
program. Mind you, that’s all the
official announcement said.
But some
left-over war-mongers from the “Dubya”
Bush administration just couldn’t hold themselves back. At 9:08PM, the same man that had sold us
every day on why we should go to war with Iraq.
Yes, the former chief spokesman for president George W. Bush, Mr. Ari Fleischer, he immediately Twittered: “The Iran deal and our allies: You can’t spell abandonment without OBAMA.”
But they
didn’t stop there. Three minutes later,
another “W” Bush re-tread, Mr. Ron
Christie, followed up with, “Precisely.....a disgraceful deal.” Of course,
neither idiot knowing what actually was in the agreement.
But still, one
hour later, and mind you the president still had not had his late Saturday
night press conference giving us the details.
One more neocon hawk, Senator John
Cornyn of Texas, the No. 2 Republican in the Senate just had to add his
ridiculous 2 cents with, “Amazing what WH
will do to distract attention from O-care.”
An interesting
comment for an agreement that took months of negotiations before it finally came
together.
But you can
leave it to Texas to top it all off. The
Tea Party Representative, John Culberson (R-Tex.) tweeted the
first message saying, “Worse than Munich”, but he also added a link to the right-wing radical Breitbart
News article with the disgusting headline and images showing the Secretary of State John Kerry and his
Iranian counterpart juxtaposed with Hitler and Chamberlain. Disgusting is actually too-good of a word
here.
Yes, even
before the president made it clear as to what was in the agreement, these
mindless spreaders of lies actually referred to the 1938 Munich agreement that
allowed the annexation of portions of Czechoslovakia to Adolf Hitler’s Nazi
Germany. The agreement at that time was
signed by and considered a betrayal of Czechoslovakia by four nations. Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and
Italy.
Many
historians have considered this the main event that allowed Hitler to seriously
spread his European conflict into what eventually became World War II. I would bet some very good money that the US Representative, Culberson, has no idea of
what, “Worse than Munich” actually
means.
But once
again, it still doesn’t stop there.
As the Washington Post writer Dana Milbank wrote the following about
these GOP bimbo’s jumping the gun on
the agreement:
“All the following great minds of the
Republican foreign policy establishment joined in [without knowing what’s
in the agreement]:
“Placing your trust in #Iran is like betting
on a blind horse on a wet track,” tweeted Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL).
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) called it a
“total surrender by Obama administration.”
Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX.) determined it to be a
“bum deal.”
“In addition to domestic debacle of
Obamacare,” wrote Rep. Tom Price (R-GA), “now POTUS and Dems accelerate crisis
in Middle East.”
Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Il) said the administration
won only “cosmetic concessions.”
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) quickly
branded the pact a “mistake.”
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said it “makes a
nuclear Iran more likely.”
And [John] Cornyn kept right on going,
sending out links to articles titled, “Abject Surrender by the United States”
and “Our ‘Sucker’s Deal’ with Iran.”
However, Dana
Milbank also wrote:
“But in the stampede to judgment, Freshman
Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) risked getting trampled. He actually waited until
hearing Obama speak before issuing a statement, and then declared that he would
“look forward to studying details.”
What a
concept. Actually waiting to study the
details before commenting.
These bizarre opposition
party members don’t seem to understand that their blind hatred for this
president makes them look so ignorant in their rush to judgment.
